Went to Singapore Flyer for a walk! (I'm not spending my $ on that 30min capsule) Just went there with datou for Popeyes Fast Food.

Synopsis
Misako Ayukawa, a woman in her 30s, is an English teacher with ironically poor English skills. She values herself over her students, and money over love. She displays arrogance in front of her students, but acts pleasantly around her peers and family. However, Ayukawa possesses a brilliant mind for solving puzzles. She ends up tackling various cases around the school along with 3 of her top students.

My New Toy - Letter Labeler!

Some of u might have this classic label maker when u r young but I dont. So when I saw this @ Popular Bookshop last weekend(inexpensive too), I just brought it for fun(Like the "raw" feel of it ). Even got different color of tape for it.

记忆中, 我们四人很象没有一起去过旅行. (读书时的课外旅游不能算呀!)
每次不是少了白老大就是被肥老人放我们飞机... (是的李小姐, 不用再狡辩了, 的确是这样!)

在粉紅豬被派到更远的地方做牛做马前(远到不知所为!), 盼望这次难得规划的旅行, 如无意外, 四人可按时出发!

Counting down to go Home

Ladies,

HR finally get back to me about my deposting. I will be back home on the 12 Sept for 4 weeks and will head to Brussels for 8 week language course and then assume my next post. (Sigh.... celebrating birthday in overseas again)

During my casual leave I am planning a holiday to Taiwan... anyone interested?

Dinner @ Stiff Chilli

Saw this interesting place at Jln Besar, so went to try it out last sat. They sell italian pasta & pizza. Overall not bad, price ok too!

Reaching for the Star ...... Pancakes!

I'm not exactly a cooking person, but sometimes i do like to cook little stuff, example Pancakes!

I started to buy pancake flour since primary school kid. At that time, you will have to mix the pancake flour with egg, sugar or maybe some milk! Now they have those which just add water will do. It's becoming so easy & the taste was not bad!

I even experiment by adding cocoa powder making it into chocolate pancake. And now i brought this pancake "shaper" @ Daiso to try try too!


See the small pix on the packaging, so cute & nice!


The results....
As you can see from the pix, none came out as shown on the packaging pix, either one edge "missing" or its "overflow" when i turn over to cook the other side. And most importantly, the pancake keeps sticking onto the mold, i try to apply butter onto the mold but still.... it's doesn't help!!!
ONLY one "decently" looks ok!

So i was thinking, isit bcos of the material of this mold(it's only $2) or the mold was not "oily" enough to prevent the sticking?

Maybe i will give it one more chance to try again next time.
