I am not really into chinese history but after I watched a documentary on The Old Summer Palace 圆明园 recently, I knew a little abt the Old Summer Palace & why is it so well known during the Qing dynasty & the Emperor Kangxi who ruled at that time. I did went to visit the Summer Palace few years ago during my trip to Beijing but the documentary provides more details info especially before it being burned down.
I not really the type who watch documentary but that really interest me. So when I saw the news that Kangxi is coming, I just thought, yeah let go to have a look!
This exhibition showcases some of the treasures during the times ruled by Kangxi Emperor. It's now on till 14 Jun, admission is $8 per adult.
