Scrapbooking in Belgium

These are the cards which I have promise my 1st week classmates in Spa for my French lesson.

I have made a card for my colleguage who I have been very close with while at post. He is a very fatherly figure to me.

There is suppose a 3 meter long banner (hand-sewed until going crazy, as the sewing machine that they lend to me was not working properly) which was done last year but I didn't have time to take a photo of it.

I thought that is going to be the last thing to do for office, but last week.....

Last minute notification.... I got very stress-up and mad. I hope this is going to be the last one if not I am going to curse and swear again.

This card nearly took me 3 hrs as I have to trail and error on the weaving of the ribbons. Don't you dare to throw away if not I am going to kill you...

Very Pinky Card

Had make a very pinky card for my scrapbooking "kaki" as she love rose colour (too bad I am not a fan of butterfly stamps collector if not it would be perfect). I find it too sweet.... something like eating sugar until you want to gag. Anyway my real motive is to get her to fall in love in using chalk ink for stamping (which she don't really like). Recently there are some new ranges of chalk colours out in the market. One of them called rose petals. I guess she will fall in love once she sees this card.

Scrapbooking for myself

I realise that I had been doing scrapbooking for frens and none for myself. So I actually decided to make something for myself. I had wanted to take a family photos but my brother was very reluctant to do so. Then I come out with this...

This project doesn't need any skill. I basically rely on the scrappapers that I pick to reduce the amount of embellishment to be use. But I had a hard time picking the colour as a base for the wood. I had repainted it a few times to change the colour (as you know me.... very fickle minded and blur). As usual... I forget to sand off eveytime I decided to change the colour. Right now the completed project seems to be little bit heavy.

I actually made this card on the nite when my brother called me regarding my mom. I was unable to sleep after tat and use that time to make this slide card for her. This time is cute rite?? So I guess she will not complain that it's ugly.

Cute 3D popout Pic

Spent my weekend at Mogo again. Realising nothing much to buy as I'm well equip with scrapbooking stuff. Then found this... It was something which I was very keen to learn during school time but as you know... student don't have that kind spare cash to do all this. Well.... just take it as to fulfil my childhood dream... (some alpha I had place my order since last year) Now a little worry and start looking for alternative if they don't come on time.

My First Workshop in Canberra

Today was a really eventful weekend since I have been here. I had sign up a workshop for scrapbooking. It starts from 8.30am - 5pm. They have prepared door gifts and 3 project. The most special thing that I like was the 'Name Tag' that they made for all the member. It is so personal and nice.
