Scrapbooking: Distressing method

Distressing is to make the item look old or something like patch work which I had learnt from my scrapbooking class in Apr. They suggested to us to use 3 similar colour paper to paste on any item we want. The most important is to help me to get rid of my scrap papers that was left over from my other projects. I realise that I had learnt during primary school art class. I guess as we grow older we had forgotten our creativity side.

This is actually for a guy.

Do you think it is too girly???

I asked all the guys in my office and they comment it is too girly.
