MY NOTEBOOK
Been looking for new notebook, since mine(above pix) will be retiring soon. (was using a brand called Monologue, produced by a local company, Grandluxe) Brought bcos it's the right size for me & not x, but after using it for less than 3mth, the material for the cover is not really going to make it for long usage(the inside pages were fine, ink doesnt smeared through, binding is strong). Bcos the cover was made of thick cardboard, corners started to split open in less than 2weeks(even try gluing it to prevent spliting) Knowing that alot of people been using moleskine but not for me. The main factor might be the elastic string position, i like horizontal better. Heard from some that the new soft cover series were using cheaper elastic band...
Actually i'm more interested in this brand(but it's really very x) - Midori's Traveler's Notebook (Leather made in Thailand, notebooks are printed in Japan) Dont think i can find here, closest might have to get from HK. (wait till i have save enough for a big shopping trip in HK!)
Another that can be found in PageOne is this Italy handmade notebook brand - CIAK(above pix) think i will get this after putting my Monologue notebook to retirement!fr: yun
